Usually holds an aloof, emotionless expression or just a perfected socially-acceptable polite smile.

Chaton had the privilege (or curse) to be born 3 minutes earlier than her twin sister, Christine. Their father was a rich Japanese immigrant and their mother a French fashion model. The Mizuki twins had a normal childhood, with Chaton being the goody-two-shoes and always looking out for her more unruly younger twin. Around teenage year, though, it was clear that Chaton would remain a perfect obedient daughter and Chris would rather rebel against their parents' demands. Christine’s persistence often got them into various troubles and although Chaton loved her sister, she finally decided to stop caring. They grew distant ever since.

Negligence is a word familiar to them. The twins were practically raised by the maids and each other, their parents only involving themselves in matter of education and extended family functions. Chaton’s childhood was filled with a lot of activities designed to make her the perfect Neige-Mizuki daughter: ballet, swimming, music lessons (piano and harp), language lessons, Jujitsu, fencing, acting, etc. She didn't have any problem with it, although she’d have enjoyed them more if she wasn’t so pressured on doing well instead of just because she loved doing them.

Over the years, she’s got so accustomed on following their parents’ wishes without too many protests simply because she didn’t want to deal with the scolding that would come should she rebel. This includes keeping her grades up, being a model student, applying early to Second Heaven High (resulting her being a year younger than her peers in year three), and going for Science major despite the fact that she despised science subjects and was more interested in language and arts, especially acting.

Despising doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t excel in them.

Chaton is an artist in self-restraint; especially concerning her wishes versus her parents'.

In fact, she’d gotten so used to doing it she could function in autopilot for weeks long without any problem. She’s well aware that what her parents are making her do is for prestige—-a perfect conversational currency in family dinners—-but she is also aware that it will eventually be good for her future, therefore prompting her to repress herself more. Chaton is reserved, focused, meticulous, calculative, competitive, and actually competent. This makes her a little feared and/or respected by other students; the kind you’d love to hate but not actually doing anything that deserves hatred except be perfect and aware of it.

On the more invisible, deeper level Chaton believes strongly in independence and not meddling with how someone wants to live their life. The only choices she gets to make in school are her clubs and sports, which, of course, were made sure to not clash with her parents' demands.
